Secara peribadi, lagu "Goodbye To Love" adalah yang paling sedih berbanding ciptaan mereka yang lain. Ok, mungkin ada lagi yang sedih seperti "The End Of The World", "Rainy Day And Mondays", "Superstar" dan sebagainya, tapi untuk lagu "Goodbye To Love", perasaan nya ada sedikit kelainan. Lagu ini salah satu karya ciptaan Richard Carpenter dan John Bettis (rakan baik Richard dan juga pernah menganggotai band bergenre jazz bersama beliau dan Karen iaitu "Spectrum" sebelum mereka popular) dan mempunyai kelainan yang tersendiri. I just don't know how to describe it...it feels so sad but it does show some good "craftsmanship" in songwriting. Lagu seperti begini amat jarang digunakan pendekatannya dalam mana-mana lagu popular di zaman sekarang. Truly amazing. Enjoy.
