Must See : Why Muslim Eat Halal Meat?

Amin.

R.I.P. Mitch Lucker (Suicide Silence's Vocalist) 1984-2012

Gone Too Soon...
Suicide Silence. If I mention the name of this band amongst the new generation of metal-heads, I'm sure they certainly recognize it and certainly being easily enthusiast by the powerful vocals of Mitch Lucker. No, I'm not a big fan of Suicide Silence but I do think that this band really kicking some asses off when doing live shows or festivals (see for yourself at youtube). Nor do I a Deathcore die-hard-fan because like most of 90's metalheads mentality that I am, this hybrid genre is a far-cry from doing any revolution or even improvement to the term Death Metal, it is merely just a new sound. Not a redefinition.

But don't get me wrong, not all Deathcore bands I rejected their capability and creativeness. There are few bands that caught my attention for years such as Carnifex, Job For A Cowboy, The Black Dahlia Murder, White Chapel and certainly Suicide Silence. I first come to contact with their perilous and taunting music about maybe 2 or 3 years ago, when my brother (after coming back from KL attended some courses) bought their debut album CD entitled "The Cleansing" and their singles like "Unanswered" and "Bludgeoned To Death" really caught my attention, surprisingly I really love the vocals made by Mitch Lucker, even though some "true" death metal fans would very much dislike his style of combining squealing and growling at the same time. The band has been met with a great amount of praise and favorable reviews, they even awarded with the Revolver Golden God Award for "Best New Talent" in 2009.

Unfortunately, Mitch Lucker was involved in a motorcycle accident in the afternoon last Wednesday (Halloween) and died the next morning. He was 28. Suicide Silence will never be the same without his charismatic appearance on stage. He will be missed by million of fans worldwide. For more info about the accident, please click here.

CD Review : UB40 - Labour Of Love II (One of the Essential Reggae Album in the 80's)

UB40 - Labour Of Love II
If I Had The Whole World, I Would Give It Away, Just To See The Girls At Play...

Album ini berjaya mengangkat nama UB40 di USA terutamanya melalui singles berhantu mereka seperti "Here I Am (come and take me)", "The Way You Do The Things You Do" serta my all time favorite "Kingston Town" (orginally daripada seorang artis calypso berpengaruh di Jamaica iaitu Lord Creator).

Pada pendapat aku, the band gives all of the cover songs the justice that it deserve with a little of improvement. Dari aspek muzikaliti, ianya tetap original.

Merangkumi 14 buah lagu reggae malar segar

P/S: CD ini sudah berusia 23 tahun (printed in 1989) dan made in Austria, besar kemungkinan 1st pressing (?)
